 Among our sewing notions
are all of the essentials for your sewing projects, including fabric, thread,
needles, pins, scissors, rulers, pillowcases, blankets, quilt blocks,
embroidery floss, ribbon, tapes and trims, shears, zippers, buttons, batting,
polyfill, and much more.
 The Staff
 At Misty Hollow, we pride
ourselves on our customer service. If
you have a question or a problem, our friendly, knowledgeable staff, including
Karen, Charley, and Jenny Sidletsky, as well as Bob Porter, is eager to help, whether
you need to know where something is, have a project, or need to place a special
order. A large portion of our business
involves special orders, which we will make in order to satisfy your
needs. If we can find it, we will order
it. We also do mail orders, as many
customers are from farther away. We also
encourage people to bring in their projects, from knitting and crocheting to
hobbies and craft projects. We enjoy
seeing what you do, so please come in with your projects or send us pictures.
 Beading
 The business began as a few
old type trays, beads to fill them, and road shows. Today, we still have beads, and have greatly
expanded in our selection. The type
trays are still in use, filled with beads and findings for buying individually
for smaller projects, such as bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. If one has a larger project, one could buy in
bulk in either strings of beads or packages.
From plastic pony and seed beads to AA quality turquoise, we offer a
wide selection of beads, as well as the findings, strings, wires, and tools
required to turn them into jewelry. We also
offer restringing services.
 Scrapbooking
 Our scrapbooking selection
includes all of the essentials, including a wide variety of papers, albums,
stickers, scissors, punches, rubber stamps, pads, markers, tapes, and glues. There are also different patterned edge
scissors to cut vellums and textured papers which you can then decorate with
our 3-D stickers.
 General Craft Supplies
 Among the general craft
supplies offered are candle and soap making, Greek letters, scratch art,
stencils, poster board, pipe cleaners, pom poms, paint, brushes, macramé, clay,
Styrofoam, Oasis floral foam, ribbon, paint by numbers, kids crafts, and much
more.
 Candy Making, Baking, and Cake Decorating
 For the baker or candy
maker, there are pans, molds, colorings, flavorings, piping bags, piping bag
tips, decorations, sprinkles, parchment paper, and more.
 Class Room
In the back of the store is
the class room, in which we have had a variety of classes over the years,
including basket making, scrapbooking, painting, and knitting/crocheting
classes. Currently, we have painting
classes on Tuesday nights and knitting classes on Thursday nights. However, we are willing to teach or help you
anytime you like on any project you might have.
